On my list of features I originally wanted to include in the game was text documents, initially it was going to be fairly involved with different types of word documents, but as time is running out (and I have midterms to worry about) the feature got simplified a bit.

One part of making the word documents was how to fill them out with actual words, I especially was trying to figure out if it was possible to make it make sense an actual build a dynamic clue system. Unfortunately it would either involve a lot of writing text by hand, oooorrr a large language model. Considering no AI generated content was allowed in the game jam, and I don't have time to spend writing a lot of filler text, there wasn't a realistic way to make the system dynamic and coherent.

The next best thing was making entirely incoherent! One of the first game jam games I submitted (and surprisingly one of my most successful) got a lot of laughs since I used entirely randomly generated sentences, which ended up being quite ridiculous, so bringing so of that energy to this game wasn't too upsetting.

After having several different wikipedia pages on sentence structure in english grammar for 2 days, I managed to put together a somewhat (if you can even say somewhat) comprehensible sentences. The more important thing is that it fills the screen with distracting text so that its harder to find the words that give points.

- The Final Stretch -

I want to add password protected folders that I could add the passwords to different word files, but I doubt I will have time. Instead my plan is to polish up whatever else I can and then playtest like crazy.

I really want to pull off the "You are now all part of my showcase" move and get people to play the game as a group live, but I have the existential fear that everything will break as soon as I start the showcase, despite working well currently.

Hopefully I can squash most of the bugs
